Emma Jane's Model Workshops
Alaskans can now learn the skills they need to succeed in the world of modeling. Emma Jane's Workshop is an eight week crash course for the serious model. Learn what you need to get top jobs in print, runway, commercial and video modeling. You'll learn:
- Runway skills - perfect the catwalk for high fashion markets. Move with confidence, grace and command of the stage.
- Camera skills - master model movement and make the camera your best friend. The workshop includes portfolio photos for your professional interviews and "Go Sees".
- Commercial and Video Skills - you'll have first hand experience as a part of Emma Jane Models videos and TV commericials
- Interview skills - learn what you need to know for interviews and prepare your portfolio and composite cards for "Go Sees" with top modeling agencies.
Emma Jane's Social Skills Workshops
Workshop coming soon!Emma Jane's Social Skills Workshops help build self-confidence and self-esteem. Etiquette, manners and conversation skills are arts that can be applied from college interviews, public appearances, social occasions and more. Your teen will learn Communication Skills, Courtesy, Table Manners and Dining Skills. Some of our course covers:
Communication Skills:
- verbal expression including ennunciation, pronunciation and voice modification
- speak coherently and read
- don't swear or be mean
Courtesy:
- hold open doors allowing others to go through first
- give up your seat to an older or disabled person
- when speaking with adults, smile and have a positive attitude
Table Manners and Dining Skills:
- do not start eating until everyone is sitting at the table
- push your chair back after using it
- use your napkin, keep it in your lap when not in use
- proper silverware use
